R.I.P. The Human Abstract

Enda et band fra undergrunnen i metalen legges ned.
Det er ikke noe nytt at band som ikke oppnÃ¥r stor suksess legges ned etter noen Ã¥r. Spesielt ikke nÃ¥r platesalget stuper og band mÃ¥ turnere seg til blods for Ã¥ fungere rent finansielt. Siste band som “tar en pause” er The Human Abstract fra USA, som siden starten i 2004 har gitt ut tre album. Bassist Henry Selva fÃ¥r siste ord:
“We are not looking for a new vocalist. We are not touring anytime soon. I think it’s only fair you guys know that we’re on ‘break’ or ‘hiatus,’ if you will. I don’t know why we haven’t made an official announcement about this. I guess it’s because there is always that ‘maybe if something happens, etc… etc…’ Or maybe it’s hard for us to realize the reality of our situation, the band’s situation, to finally let go.
I’ll be honest when I say the folllowing: PERIPHERY and NEVER SAY DIE were our last tours together as a band.
It was amazing experience while it lasted”.
